The ultra-smooth, conical shaped head of the M.A.S. miniscrew, is one of the most comfortable miniscrews for children and adults. Due to the M.A.S. very smooth design, inflammation is not an issue.
The M.A.S. miniscrew is very strong Titanium Grade V, and the miniscrew may be loaded immediately with desired force ranging from 50-250 grams. The mean resistance to breakage in torsion was 48.7 Ncm for the 1.5mm; and 37.4 Ncm for the 1.3 mm. The mean resistance to breakage in flexion was 120.4N for 1.5mm; and 91.7N for the 1.3mm. This suggests that the M.A.S. can resist a force much greater than that of any orthodontic application.
Tested and proven for over seven years in the global market, the M.A.S. system is a safe, effective, and comfortable treatment technique to incorporate into your practice.
